Job Description

Introduction

The Human Capital Management department is looking for another talented professional to complement their team, in the form of a Senior Consultant: Learning and Development . We welcome your application if you believe you meet the requirements for this position.

Specification

Devise GIBB's training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes
Ensure enhancement of employee skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.
Identify, develop, manage various learning initiatives that facilitate skills development, leadership development and employee retention.
Overall development of the L&D function that includes legislative and statistical reporting and ensures compliance.

Requirements

The individual would be required to posses the following:

Well-developed written and oral communication.
Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels (both internal and external).
Attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy.
Ability to manage own time and able to prioritise (in terms of risk and urgency) projects and activities.
Strong service ethic and ensures that learning needs are met.
Resilience, perseverance and tenacity. The ability to stay focused and goal orientated in the face of adversity. Rarely upset by criticism, able to remain optimistic despite
setbacks.
Eagerness to learn: must display willingness and capacity to acquire the necessary levels of competence for the role.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in training and development (Human Resources)
Qualified SDF
Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience designing and delivering corporate training program and leadership development program
Experience conducting needs assessments and performance gap analysis required
Previous experience training in an engineering environment preferred
