MAIN JOB PURPOSE: Production engineers focus on manufacturing performance. They will make sure that the production target attainment will be achieved. JOB SUMMARY: To provide Safety & Security leadership, support, advice and expertise to the WTS operational teams A direct interface for WPS with Group Safety and Security heads, advising the I&O Director and WPLT on matters of safety and security performance. Responsible for workplace security and building intelligence capabilities within the office environment & in factory/R&D environments where managed Ensure there is a clear understanding of the risk profile of our sites with the local Security Officer and the Workplace team to ensure our level of protection is adequate Ensure that safety and security standards are adhered to in construction projects (46 projects over 3yrs [€110m CAPEX 2017]). Embed safety & security culture and agenda for Workplace. 800+ FTE’s & 6000+ contractors globally across all offices, R&D & supply chain facilities. To ensure consistent understanding and deployment of global Safety & Security framework and standards. To ensure a global risk-based Safety & Security approach by influencing behaviours to improve Safety & Security, reduce incidents and support the delivery of the USLP To provide strategic programme management for safety and security relevant programmes, including the Facilities Management Transformation Programme, GPAS and USOC. To provide strategic advice on the procurement of new technology and technical systems that enhance safety and security in Unilever Contribute to implementation of BeSafE program across all offices and track safety progress. Support the investigation of WPS most serious SHE incidents and security issues. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Desirable 9+ years of experience working in a similar role/field Engineering degree is preferred but open to other academic degrees as well Excellent organisational and communication skills with operations/client relationship management. Experience working in a standards/compliance environment. Fluency in English – A second or third language would be desirable Essential A committed safety professional with previous Occupational Safety experience in the field of FMCG or technical FM and food service. Broad commercial experience, business acumen and knowledge of external industry safety developments/best practices. Ability to define, influence and communicate technical standards at a global account level Recent experience in Health and Safety implementation.
